Today I will talk about the Control Panel at Hostgator.

HostGator uses Cpanel, one of the most widely used control panels in web hosting. There are many features this control panel offers, including manage mysql databases, phpmyadmin, ssh, setting up auto-responders, e-mail lists, file managers, information disk space, bandwidth and much. My favorite tool is the file manager which is AJAX powered.

With the file manager you can easily upload files, delete rename move files from one folder to another. It' really cool.
Also phpmyadmin which is standalone package can help you easily manage databases, see the structure of databases, create tables etc. Their theme looks pretty good, and the tools are well organized, but of course you can reorder them at any time.
It offers you good number of features, also here is the fantastico de luxe, so you can install all modern PHP scripts (bulletin boards, content management systems, chat, polls, forums with single click) making it very easy to build sites. And not to forget here is the SiteBuilder and SiteStudio with which you can easily create new sites.
